SPECIFICATIONS                         Backed by more than five decades of market presence, we Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), are successfully catering the needs of Indian defense services. Inculpated in 1954 by Government of India under the Ministry of Defense, we have established benchmarks of success in terms of quality of diverse products, latest technology and multi-unit organization. We always upgrade our facilities with the advancement in electronics technology to deliver high tech products that are widely acclaimed by domestic and international clients. Starting with few communication equipment in 1956, we went to deal in Receiving Valves in 1961, Germanium Semiconductors in 1962 and Radio Transmitters for AIR in 1964.             In 1966, Radar manufacturing facility for the Army and in-house R&D was set up. In 1967, we also started manufacturing Transmitting Tubes, Silicon Devices and Integrated Circuits In 1968, PCB manufacturing unit was also started.
